This is so patronising and exploitative I don’t know where to start. Their signs are way better, expressed with their own hand and convey a truth, honesty and personal expression that helvetica could never do. How many other signs in the city are written in helvetica?!! This just blends in with the rest. As a designer using typefaces all day everyday and as a former mental health worker dealing with these issues everyday, I’ve never seen a social design crime as appalling as this.
